About the National Association of  Junior Auxiliaries (NAJA)

The first chapter of the Junior Auxiliary was chartered in 1941 in Greenville, Mississippi. Currently, the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries is made up of 93 Chapters in Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee. Although projects and fundraisers vary, each chapter strives to fulfill the needs of the children in the community, while also providing fun opportunities that certain children may not normally get to experience. The Arkadelphia Chapter was incorporated on August 13, 1973 by Mrs. Pat Green Pennington. The Junior Auxiliary of Arkadelphia serves all of Clark County, and the chapter has approximately 40 active member and numerous Associate and Life members.
